Welcome to a Collaborative Path to Healing and Growth

I believe that you are the ultimate expert in your own life. My role as your therapist is to listen deeply, act as a trusted facilitator in your healing process, and empower you to discover the specific solutions that bring clarity and relief. No two individuals or families are identical, which is why I blend insight-oriented therapy with practical, evidence-based tools tailored to your unique story and goals. Whether you are seeking support for a young child, navigating stressful adolescent years, or looking for personal growth and emotional relief as an adult, we will work together to help you achieve your optimal level of functioning.

A Comprehensive Approach: Therapy & Medication Management Under One Roof

One of the most unique aspects of my practice is my ability to provide truly integrated care. As a Louisiana licensed Advanced Practice Medical Psychologist, I possess specialized, post-graduate training in clinical psychopharmacology. This means that if your treatment plan requires both emotional support and medical intervention, I can manage your psychiatric medications in close consultation with your primary care physician while simultaneously providing your talk therapy. You no longer have to navigate the exhausting gap between a separate therapist and a psychiatrist—your care is streamlined, holistic, and completely unified!

Specialized Expertise You Can Trust

While my primary focus is creating a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for you, my clinical approach is backed by decades of rigorous academic training, research, and public leadership:

  • Early Childhood Specialist: I completed the prestigious Irving Harris Infant Mental Health Fellowship and am a certified Infant Mental Health Specialist, focusing heavily on supportive child-parent psychotherapy.

  • Complex Trauma & Stress Care: I possess extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and emotional trauma (PTSD) across all age groups.

  • Academic Leadership: I serve as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the LSUHSC School of Medicine, helping train the next generation of psychologists, psychiatrists, and medical students.

  • Multi-State Telehealth Access: While my physical practice is deeply rooted in the New Orleans community, I am a licensed psychologist in Louisiana, Georgia, Minnesota, and Utah, and a registered telehealth provider for Florida residents. I am currently accepting new clients.

Take the Next Step Toward Well-Being

You do not have to navigate life's challenges or emotional hurdles alone. Whether you are looking to schedule an initial consultation, arrange specialized academic testing, or explore integrated therapy and medication management services, getting started is straightforward. I offer convenient, secure virtual telehealth sessions across multiple states, as well as private, in-person appointments at my New Orleans office. Let’s work together to create a customized roadmap for your personal and professional growth.
